material came damaged and my crew didnt tear into the box when it came off the truck. when the customer opened up in my warehouse to measure...there was a sizable dent on the top...appears they stacked something on it.
their damage/claim department told me there was a grace period from when the unit was delivered and damage is found and we were well within that. so I sent the unit to my customer's job site and they send someone to assess the damages. this takes time, emails and phone calls.
just for me to wait about a month as some incompetent employee of ABF claims gets my email wrong, then proceeds to tell me since the damage was noticed when we originally unloaded the unit...the claim was denied!! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT FROM THE BEGINNING !!!!!!
